Family Vacation

We just returned from a classic MN vacation, hitting both Duluth and Brainerd. Just a little bit of Midwest Americana for you - a cozy cabin, a lake, homemade pies...Iris enjoyed swimming numerous times per day. Tom and I enjoyed not working and spending extra time with our daughter. Much driving made easier by the wonder of a $79 portable DVD player and Elmo videos!

Trike!

We inherited this great tricycle from our fantastic neighbors. Iris loves to sit on it. She cannot ride it yet, and when I try to show her, she yells "SELF!" and then proceeds to sit on it for extended periods of time doing nothing but occasionally placing her feet on the pedals.
