As Luck Would Have It!

This morning's adventure included the indoor park at the community center. The computer system was down so Iris and her friends got in free. Then we saw a sign there that said the indoor waterpark was free later in the afternoon so we drove and drove and drove until Iris caved in and fell asleep in the car so we could go swimming for free after a quick nap. And this evening she bowled us over by asking, if not begging to go to bed...FANTASTIC!

Oh, and for the two people following the name guessing game...the nonletter of the week is: V.

As a review, we have ruled out the letters: A C H I L M R S V and X.

Grateful for Spring!

A beautiful weekend! Many visits to our favorite parks. Despite hours and hours spent climbing, sliding, running, etc there was no nap for Iris today.

Northeast Egg Hunt

Iris and her friends Elayna and Sawyer post egg hunt. The competition for eggs was stiff! Within seconds, dozens of plastic eggs had vanished. We are fairly certain some of the parents were helping their children snatch them up....

Sleepy Iris!

We usually have to wake Iris around 6AM to get her ready to go to Grandma Care (and when I say wake, let's not kid ourselves and think that follows 8 hours of peaceful sleep...she still doesn't sleep through the night consistently) Here she is after an especially rough night. We had just gotten her up and she fell immediately back asleep in this position.
